Blackberry in for repairs

I took my Blackberry in for repairs around 2 months ago and due to work and personal reasons, I requested a premature upgrade to a new phone, as I cannot be without a mobile. This has handled in a professional manner. 10 days after taking my phone in I called the repairs office in Cape Town who told me my phone had been sent to JHB for repairs and that I would receive a call regarding the repairs within 10 working days, which I did but the news was that I had allowed an unauthorised person to work on my phone and that I was liable for the repairs. I told them that this was nonsense and sent an email to their escalations department. I received a response from Edward via email saying that the photo's showed that my phone had been worked on and that I would need to pay for it. I insisted that this was not the case and that I would like to speak to someone in authority. I received a reply a day or so later stating that they can give me a discount of R280 but I again said that I would like the name and number/email address of someone in authority - this has never transpired. I have had a contract with them for 18 years and take offence to being called a.
