Who will take responsibilty and when???

On 29.09.2013 at 16:16 my wife, a mtn client, inquired as to purchasing airtime for me, a vodacom client, from a cashier. She inquired as to denominations and settled on R50. The cashier informed her it was R49 and she bought it. Later I redeemed the voucher that state AIRTIME VOUCHER AND MAKES NO MENTION OF SMS'S and it was for a 150 sms bundle. I immediately called vodacom to have it converted to airtime balance and spoke to their call centre consultants TWICE and their data dept. They informed me that the vendor should addres my concern as they COULD NOT convert these worthless sms's or credit my account. My wife returned to Shoprite on 30.09 2013 (spending R50 on petrol), who informed her that THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO AS I ALREADY REDEEMED THE VOUCHER, and that I should ask Vodacom again to assist, as they can do nothing further. On 30.09.2013 I again called Vodacom Customer Care and asked if I could maybe speak to one of their managers to ask him/her to call Shoprite management to resolve this issue. The consultant informed that was impossible but that she would sms me a number I could call. So... here I am, Tuesday... no airtime and still waiting on the number... Ai!
