Vodacom
Offer new contract telephonicly

Good day

On the 9th of September 2013 i received a call from one of Vodacom`s sales consultants they offered me a new cell phone contract on a Top Up 135 with two Samsung E2220 phones. I specifically ask the consultant if these phones are Whats App compatible and she said YES. On the 13th September 2013 these phones were delivered to my at my work address. I set them up and tried to down load Whats App needless to say it was unsuccessful. I phoned customer car and they told me the Samsung E2220 is not an Android phone and therefore i will not be able to down load Whats App as they are NOT compatible. I then spoke to Sifiso at Vosacom Customer Care and cancelled the deal this all happened on the 13th September 2013. He told me they will send someone to fetch the phones and the deal was cancelled. Cell no: 0716433470 they debit my account with the R135-00. Today i call to enquire as to when they will collect the phones as it is two weeks later and i spoke to Hunadi who informed me that there is a cancelation fee of R2328-00 to be paid. I feel this is outrageous as i DID cancel the deal within 24 hrs. The calls are recorded so there should not be any problems to resolve this problem.
