Vodacom
CONTRACT DISPUTE

On the 13th of Dec last year, my father received a call from Siyabonga at Afrizon who offered him 2 free Samsung galaxy pocket cell phones & 2 free Homemark vouchers worth R 450 each. On the 8/01/2013, we discovered that the phones are not free as claimed by Siyabonga, and my father who is a pensioner would be debited an amount of R 500 and more for these contracts. Called Afrizon on 09/01/2013 and dealt with Brian Matlhoko who had no interest in resolving the matter for us. His only response was customer's query was found invalid and then forwaded the call recording. During the discussion between my father and Siyabonga, not once did Siyabonga mention that the cell phones are contracted.
The question is, is the customer being treated fairly? NO! Was his best interests taken into account? Surely not!! can he afford having these cell phones? Not at all.
Futhermore on 10/01/2013 I contacted Vodacom and spoke to Mfanafuthi Nkosi, he requested that I send him the details of the enquiry as well the call recordings which I did. He promised to refer this to his manager but to date I have not received any feedback. I want all these contracts cancelled immediately.
