June 2012 I bought a Galaxy tablet by MTN Tyger Valley IMEI 359262041577548
I experienced problems with the Tablet
I took it back and they sent it away for repairs.
After two months and SEVEN follow-ups, I was informed for the first time that the battery is broken and I have to pay to get it replaced
Firstly at point of sale it was never indicated to me that the battery is not covered in the warranty
This is misleading, the tablet is a sealed product. In terms of the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) MTN has failed me, not even to mention Treating your Customer Fairly!
After I paid R500 to have the battery replaced, I received the Tablet back just experience the same problem again, three days later!
I took the tablet back and demanded the contract be cancelled
Thus far my problem is ignored and MTN is in denial, they are playing the blame shifting came!
MNT refuses to accept that the tablet is a problem and I still have to pay for it - check the records, I am losing my data every month, although I have to pay a monthly fee of R647.83.
The past week I have picked up the tablet again from MTN, just to take it back yesterday, WITH EXACTLY THE SAME PROBLEM. This is the 3rd time
