Lack of information, cannot reverse purchase

Enquired about a data topup bundle. Karen showed me the promotional price list. I asked to purchase the 5gb bundle for R399. Once the transaction was processed, I received an sms stating that the 5GB expires on 30 October. I informed Karen that I wanted topup data that does not expire and requested to reverse the purchase. She told me that it is not possible to either reverse or exchange the purchase for top-up data that does not expire. Customer care confirmed that nothing can be done from their side.
