Yesterday I placed a comment on the Vodacom Facebook page complaining on how hard it was to buy the "new" promotional data bundles. The admin on the page advised me to use *111# to purchase the new deals (that's only valid for one month). I loaded R150 airtime on my cellphone via internet banking and proceeded to *111#. I followed all the prompts and bought the 1gig data bundle fir R149. It showed the expirey date was 2 May 2013. I then used my I-phone as per usual ie. Twitter, Facebook, etc. Last night I made the horror discovery that my data was suddenly depleted! After investigating I found that my 1gig data bundle was never activated and that I was indeed surfing on out of bundle rates. I really feel that I have been ripped off as the *111# clearly showed my 1gig data purchase was successful. Thanks for that Vodacon ag Vodacom!
