I signed for a contract over the telephone on 15 February 2013. The contract stipulated that I can cancel the contract within 14 workdays. I did cancel the contract on 18 February 2013 (within 3 days). The collection of the items were arranged and Vodacom only came to collect on 25 February 2013, still within the 14 workday period. A pick-up slip was completed, which specified that all the items were still sealed and in their original packaging and all the items were returned. On 18 September 2013 I received a Final Demand from Vodacom. I immediately responded and also put everything in writing. Elsabie Estrum confirmed that it was a mistake and it will be rectified. Today, 25 September 2013, I found out that Vodacom has proceeded to list me on ITC, this after I acted pro-active to try and resolve the matter. I again phoned Vodacom and again all the facts were confirmed and it was also confirmed that it was a mistake and will be rectified. Little to late as Vodacom has now cost me my house...
