On the 26th of June 2013, I received an Incontact SMS regarding a debit order from Cell C. I immediately called their call center, and reported this as. I later found out that my ID, payslip & bank statement had been copied and used to open accounts with Cell C, MTN, RCS, ABSA. I then contacted ITC as well as SAFPS to report this, and all applications were stopped immediately, except Cell C. I called Cell C again on the 28th of June 2013, and was told by their call center agent that the department is still investigating. Almost 2 months have passed, and I have still not received any feedback from Cell C. I called them again on 13 August 2013, and was told by the call center agent she will escalate to the department so they can call me, but now, 3 days later, still no call received. Cell C have wrongfully & debited my bank account and till now have not reversed the amount back to my bank account. I should not be held accountable for the negligence of Cell C. I have not received the phone, Cell C can pull footage from the store where the phone was collected. I need feedback on this ASAP..
