My mother is an 86 year old pensioner whose Telkom phone has not been working for 2 weeks. (0123483075) We reported the fault by SMS on the 7th September and got a reference number.. Telkom came and tested the phone the next week and said it was a line problem and they would come and fix it, which they have not done. I have resent the request a few times but can only do it through SMS or online and they keep on saying that it has been reported. There is no way I can get anyone on the phone. I have phoned their fault line 3 times and held on for more than 30 minutes with no one answering. I am currently sitting here listening to a recording on the line. I don't know what to do I am desperate as my mother is very anxious. Please can you get this message to them urgently. I will be reporting this to ICASA if it is not fixed in 2 days.
