Line inactive for 48hrs following sim swap

I received my new S4 Upgrade phone last week 11 Sept. In the package came a micro sim. I did the sim swap on Sun 15 Sept. I was promised it would take 6-24hrs and I was prepared to live without an active line for that long. I'm now at 48hrs, and still dont have an active line and no one can give me an answer (remember both old and new sims are dead now). I've called 082 111 several times and spoke to several individuals over the 2 days. I've also Tweeted @Vodacom111 several times without much success, feedback or progress updates.

Please assist. Ive been 2 days without an active line and am now desperate...
