I visited the Willowbridge MTN branch on Monday this week, 6th of January. I needed to do a sim swap, in order to make use of a new device that I had bought. My old BB crashed, and my new device needed a micro sim. The consultant charged me R136.80 for the sim swop, gave me the new card and said it would take a few hours to become active. Two days later, still no joy, card not active. I called the MTN customer services line, and was informed that the sim swap was never submitted for processing. To top it all off, I have yellow sim cover apparently, which means I should not have been charged for the sim swap at all. I have mailed the Willowbridge store, and repeatedly tried to call them with no answer, unfortunately I have not had the opportunity to pay them a visit in person to give them a piece of my mind. I had it sorted at a closer store in less than an hour, but I am disgusted with this shocking service, as well as having had to pay an unecessary fee for the privilege.
