I took out a 3G contract at the Telkom mobile store in Greenstone mall, and asked the lady very clearly if there would be signal in my complex in Greenstone. so she looked it up on the coverage map, and concluded that there would be full coverage, and showed it to me and I was satisfied. Signed the R300pm contract for 10gb day and 10gb night owl and was on my way. There was not even one bar when I used the dongle in my room downstairs, where I would work.
I left it for a month, and tried again.nothing. So I called customer care, and they said they would send someone to have a look. 2 weeks pass, after three calls back (to 8ta), they send a guy. then he says that there is no signal in my complex. so I open up a case (no. 6567233, this was a month ago). 8ta said that someone would call me in 3 days, nobody called. I called them back, they said they are still working and that someone would call in 72 hours, nobody called. I called again, furious. and spoke to a guy named Ridaa Davids (REF 6706074), he said someone would definitely call me in 72 hours.nobody called. Yesterday Nobuntu assured me that I would be called, nobody. JUST FIX IT!! and give me the GIGS I lost over these months!!
