I upgraded in Aug from a Blackberry to a Samsung. Within less than 2 weeks, I received a call and was advised that my usage was over a R1000 and that my contract would be stopped unless I pay at least 50% I queried this with the legal department and wanted to make pmt arrangements, who advised me that I had no alternative but to pay the full acc. I then coughed up money in the middle of the month so that my phone is not blocked. This month once again I am informed that my bill is R1400. I find this hard to believe as my bill has never been more than R400p/m. I requested an itemised billing and discovered that there was internet usage early & odd hours when I did not access my phone. I would like someone competent to please investigate the reason as to why my bill is so high. I refuse to pay this bill until I have received the proof that I am responsible for the high usage. I am 100% certain that I did not access my phone at the random hours as shown on your itemised billing. Should my phone be barred due to non-pmt as a result of this query, I will take this matter further. I currently feel that Cell C is not Consumer Protection Sensitive.
