NO CONNECTION

I'm in Greenstone Hill and rely heavily on my internet connection for work. I ordered my ADSL line months ago and only when i actually saw the guys outside my house across the road in the telkom manhole and asked them about my line did something actually start... They gave me their bosses number, I called him to put a line into my house, he did that more than 3 weeks ago and said that he's given our stand numbers (mine and my neighbor) to Gerda (from Telkom) to send a technician out to connect me up. Haven't heard from them. In the meantime my 3G has practically stopped working (8ta!) for no apparent reason, so I'm in trouble with late work and on the verge of losing my JOB!! Finally the contractor who put my line in gave me Gerda's number after many sms's and phone calls to escalate this. She NEVER answers! Always voicemail, the contractor suggests sending an sms for a quicker response... did it and still not a peep!
I'm furious. If I'd known Telkom was this useless I'd have gone another route! Now I've already paid R1800 for the line!
