On the 31st August 2013 I moved into my new house only 5km from my previous home. Both me & my wife (both on Cell C contracts) noticed that the signal was very weak & at times none whatsoever. We cant access Facebook, internet or simply make or receive calls. So on the 2nd Sept I contacted Cell C call centre and advised them of the issue. They promised to have it looked at in the next 48hours. The reference number is 3090201635. After hearing nothing back I again called on the 9th Sept quoting this ref number. I was told its not resolved. I again called on the 11th Sept as this was becoming a joke. Again not resolved. I lost it over the phone with the lady as I run a business from home but cannot use my R800 a month contract phone. She said her manager a THEMBI would call me later that day. Guess what no call!! Then on the 12th I got a call that someone will come out today (13th) at 8am to test the signal. Guess what no one arrived. We have been waiting since then. Will I be credited for this time where I cannot use my phone? Probably not... COME ON CELL C WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE. I EXPECT THIS RESOLVED OR ELSE A LAWYERS LETTER WILL BE SENT TO YOUR LEGAL DEPARTMENT!!!
