The Din-Al-View Community Policing Forum approached Luis for information wrt the use of handheld 2-way radios by the residents of the sector. He suggested licensed VHF FM radios. A number if members bought them, and Luis erected a high-performance antenna and base station at our local security company - SWS . He also takes care of the ICASA licensing requirements. LBP's profits from this operation are minimal (if any), but the service to the community is fantastic. Luis often attends sector meetings and is always willing to assist. His input has been spot on.
