Contract not cancelled!!!

I waa at the end of my contract in august, i called vodacom on the 3 august 2013 and requested cancellation, on the 6th this was request was reversed and contract reinstated without my knowledge, i only realised this on the 10 september 2013 when i decided to use that sim in another phone as i had it converted to prepaid. i called vodacom on the 10 september 2013 and explained my problem, they gave me a reference and told ill b contacted in 48 hours, i contacted them after that time as they didnt contact me, only to find out that the call centre agent that helped me on the 10th didnt do the correct thing, i explained i do not want to be billed and its my right as ive given adequat cancellation, but now i cant be told that they can sort that immediately.
