I have had my iPhone 5 for a few months now on Telkom Mobile and the only reason it seams to be cheaper is because you hardly ever have signal to make calls or to use your data.
If it wasnt for wifi in my house and work this phone would have been boxed and left unused since day one!!!..when i have urgent calls there is no signal or the call I'm on gets cut cause signal just disappeared again!!!
According to the consumer act if an item is sold for a certain purpose and the item does not fulfill its purpose then the company selling it needs to exchange or refund... The phone is fine but the network non existent... so what now??
