So much happened in the meantime- which prompts me to say that Nashua should change their slogan from "Saving you time, saving you money, putting you first" to "Wasting your time, wasting your money, putting you last'!

I was told by Nashua (call reference 300132-0837) that unless the id number on the Cell C port request matched the incorrect number that Nashua had on their system (despite having been shown documentation prior to, and on, the port date) they would not release my number.
I went to the Pavilion branch and took an hour or so to sort out the id number (call reference from branch to head office 3001351591).
My number was still not released, despite a third port request (documentation) and until further action from myself and Cell C (ref 1309040000401004, Lerato and Vusi at Cell C Porting Dept.) eventually got me switched over on 5 September.
