New phone with out of the box failures. USELESS

I got an upgraded phone in Craighall vodacom from tea, who was very helpful. But two days later, the phone randomly started switching off. I then took it back to her, and she was once again very helpful, and told me that they cant replace the phone without a repair person looking at the problem. I was very reasonable, in that I took the phone to Vodashop Sandton because the driver was away in Craighall. In Sandton, a teller helped me who was very bad. She couldnt tell me anything and had to call another woman, Maria. I told Maria the phone had failed and I needed it asap as I was going to Cape Town on Sunday. She said that it was "impossible" for me to get the phone back on Sunday as the main office wasn't open. To begin with, how is this my problem. I bought a phone, it fails, I get a new phone?? I allow for this, and remain reasonable and suggest they courier the new phone to a vodacom retailer in Cape Town as soon as is possible. She says, it should be in my hands by Thursday, but I should call her on Tuesday to find out. Come Tuesday, and she is literally rejecting my calls. Eventually I get through and she says she'll call on Wednesday. NOTHING and it's now Thurs. No phone.
