Roaming issues

Firstly my simcard was blocked, i never called vodacom to block my number.
My phone was practically not working for 5 days and when i call they unblock it and tell me that
i can b able to use my phone but now i cant do anything on my phone its now roaming on a different network
which does not even allow me to sent an sms let alone check my balance.
whats the point of me having a phone if i cant use it?
they have caused a huge inconvenience in my life
