I HAVE TRIED TO SWITCH MY CONTRACT TO CELL C OVER 3 WEEKS AGO, AND IT HAS BEEN A STRUGGLE EVER SINCE I STARTED, AND I DO REGRET IT SINCERELY.
THEIR SERVICE IS POOR, THEY ARE UNAVAILABLE AND MAKE POOR EFFORTS TO REACH/CONTACT ME BACK REGARDING THE DELAYED STATUS OF THE SIM CARD, AND PROGRESS THEREOF.
OVER AND ABOVE THIS, I HAVE BEEN DELIVERED AN OLD SIM CARD DESPITE HAVING CLEARLY STATED THAT A MICRO SIM IS NEEDED (HONESTLY, IN THE MODERN AGE THIS SHOULDN'T EVEN HAVE TO BE REQUESTED!), BUT WHEN I ATTENDED THE CELL C STORE IN SANDTON CITY, AND WAS INCONVENIENCED GREATLY IN DOING SO, I FOUND OUT THAT THE STOCK DELIVERED TO ME WAS SO OLD THAT IT CANNOT EVEN BE CUT INTO A MICRO SIM!!!
NOW I AM TOLD THAT I NEED TO SIM SWAP FIRST AND THEN PORT, WHICH ARE ALL UNNECESSARY DELAYS TOO FURTHER MY FRUSTRATIONS WHICH I THINK IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE
WHY CANT WE HAVE A MICRO SIM DELIVERED AS WAS COMMUNICATED AND UNDERSTOOD TO ME UPFRONT? IT IS DISGUSTING THAT 21 DAYS LATER, I AM STILL WITHOUT A CONTRACT AND NO REAL EFFORTS ARE MADE TO CORRECT THIS.
IF THIS IS HOW THEY TREAT CUSTOMERS BEFORE THEY EVEN JOIN THE NETWORK, I STRONGLY ADVISE POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS TO NOT JOIN!
