I have a data contract with autopage. I placed a soft bar limit on the account when I opened the contract 2 years ago. In those 2 years that limit has been effective. On 3 September '13 I receive an SMS to say I am R800 over that limit. I lodge a complaint/query both telephonically and via their website. A week later no one has responded and the LINE IS STILL ACTIVE. I contacted accounts to arrange a payment plan and they say I may pay it off but the line will remain suspended and I must continue to pay for the subscription for data I won't be able to use.
They say I am still responsible as per the terms I agreed upon. I requested a copy of where I signed agreeing to those terms but I have not received anything. They said they can't guarantee a soft limit will work but it had worked in the past. It works on another contract I have that is NOT with autopage.
If this issue is not resolved I have no alternative but to lodge a complaint with ICASA.
