Still holding after 15 minutes

One tries to cancell ones contract by going to a store. You are told you cant do it there. Then you have to make REPEATED calls to a number - 082 1958 that does not get answered.
Is this vodacom's way of keeping their contracts. You JUST CANT cancell them??
I have now been holding for 25 minutes. I was informed that the call centre closes at 18:00 Mon to Friday.
