A weeks ago i had applied for a telkom line at me flat. i was told that they will only do an installation on monday/friday between 8am & 4:30pm. I have just started a new job so i cannot get off so i made arrangements for a frind of mine to meet the technician. I also asked my friend to show him where to put the line. The tech instead give him a sad story that he cannot put it where i want it because the line will be unclear.the tech didnt want to put it where i wanted because there was an existing phone line and didnt want to run a new cable. i have made and 8 calls to 10210 in the last 3 days and still jog no joy what so ever. I went out of my way to accommodate Telkom, the least they can do i accommodate me now.
