Gloria from MTN gave me a call on Wednesday morning 23rd Jan advising that i qualify for upgrade on my contract and offered me a phone if i agree. i was delighted and confirmed that i need samsung galaxy 3, she then advised me of MTN terms and confitions as normal and the amount i will pay on top up which she said was R349. I was happy and we confirmed everything, she said she had stock and courier company will call me for delivery. 30minutes later she called again saying that she made a mistake samsung galaxy 3 is R399 per month and not R349. I said to her that is still fine and her apology is accepted she can please proceed. On morning of 24th she called to say that it was a mistake from their side, i do not qualify for upgrade yet. i am very disappointed as i had already told my family and friends that my nightmare with black berry is ending as i am upgrading the phone. why would MTN call me and offer me an upgrade while they did not check their records properly??? I am furious because i am now still stuck with my blackberry torch for another 11 months and it is giving me problems every day and this is why i was so happy to upgrade.
