Upgrade couldnt supply

I went for my upgrade yesterday, and we couldn't get assistance. I've filled out all documents required and was told that I have to wait in a cue whilst I was 1st in line. Then again, one of the guys at 8ta, told my wife an upgrade takes up to 24hrs before approved. What bull was that, and its only clicks of a button since im an existing customer. I want my contract to be cancelled and closed. They've just lost a good customer, and will tell all my friends about those guys at 8ta Southgate Mall, which still loved at us when I left the store. If this is the service im getting from them, and nothing came to it, I'll further more take it up with Senior management.
