So, I unfortunately renewed a cell phone contract with MTN at their Menlyn Park mall branch. A mere 10 days later, the phone's (Samsung S3 mini) screen was just went black. It's a technical device, these things can happen. I took it back to the shop and I was told by the Sales Assistant that as per the CPA it has to go for a 7 day assessment and if it's not due to negligence or water damage the phone will be replaced. That was Monday 12 August.
After countless attempts phoning (on 0838696705) the shop with no success went there on Saturday 31 August but I was told that they don't deal with such on Saturdays.
This afternoon, 2 September and after repeatedly dialling and redialling the number for about 20 minutes I managed to get through and the lady that answered promised me that Ludwick would phone me back as he was busy at that time.
It is now 18h12 and I have been dialling and redialling their number for over 30 minutes and no one is answering the phone.
How long is 7 days?? I hope that it is not too late to cancel this contract.
