I am using an un-shapped line from Telkom.
It takes 5 minutes to load google. And it cannot even stream YouTube at 140p.
The call center couldn't solve the issue. I was told of the charged call out.
I have actually had techie's come out from Telkom to find no error, ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS, and magically a few days later the problem subsides.
I called the DSL help weeks ago to upgrade my line onto the faster new exchange in my area. I have someone in the area reflecting the higher exchange, yet I was told it doesn't exist.
The nature of this complaint is as follows: The service, the systems, the solutions are not adequate. I am stuck with no internet now, and have need of it. Offer solutions at a cost? Solutions that often show up with no evidence?
The money that is paid monthly is for a certain service. That service is not being delivered.
This is to bring attention to the issue that everyone suffers. I refuse to pay a call out fee to have a techie find nothing, again.
This is about the 15th time. I am going to find a wireless solution now. Please do not contact me to resolve the issue or for more info, as by usual Telkom practice it won't actually solve my problem.
