I received a call some days ago from this CC call centre, asking me to extend my Top Up 75 contract, as well as offering a new phone. The phone is misrepresentation as we know there are no phones with Top Up 75. I made it clear that I am not interested, and the lady said someone will phone me to confirm that I don't want it. Nobody phoned. Suddenly I got FOUR sms's within minutes apart, telling me that upgrade #7993747 has been done (WITHOUT MY CONSENT) AND WILL BE ACTIVATED ON THE 31st of August 2013, valid until the 28th August 2015!!!
VODACOM, the so called umbrella company, wants nothing to do with this, and refers me back to Chatz Cellular. Convenient I would think, as they profit on the misrepresentation of the call centre, AND there is someone to blame at the end of the day.
