I recently upgraded my Cell C contract to the Samsung Galaxy S4 and asked for my existing pre-paid number (from another network) to be ported over to my Cell C contract number, as the sims are also micro sims.

I called the Service Centre (140) and my request was logged. I was told in store that a port over of this kind would cost R250, but the consultant at the service desk said it will cost between R250 to R1000!!! Just to port over??? I did this on a Saturday and was told that I will be contacted within 48hours from Monday, but that someone would probably call me on Monday morning to confirm the price & if I still want the port over. No one called! I called them on Monday and Tuesday, giving them the same flipped details every time, only to be told "Ma'am, your call is logged and someone will be in contact with you) NO ONE HAS CONTACTED ME YET?? Does Cell C even care about their customers? For goodness sake, customers even want to port over to the network!
