I opened up a contract in November 2012. My banking details changed from a saving to a cheque account. Absa was suppose to transfer the debit order but that did not happen. Vodacom then contacted me directly and I gave my updated banking details in december 2012. In Jan the debit order didnt go through again and another agent contacted me and I gave the new banking vdetails again. They did advise they will update. The account went into arrears and I went into the store (gateway) and made payment and updated banking details and signed a declaration. Upon doing all of this the account was still not debited and later I encounted extra payments along with lawyers fees as well as a defaut against my credit record. I am highly frustrated with the level of service as i dont understand how many timesI am required to give me banking details before Vodacom updqates the records. I have since made two payments settling this and it still has not been resolved.
