I am in Australia on a visit & obtained a local mobile phone to udr while I am in Australia. As a result I am not using my contract minutes [R's] Vodacom deducts money off every month of the minutes{R's} older than 6 months. My daughter said this is ultra vires to the Consumer Act. When I challenged Vodacom on this matter the attitude was unsatisfactory When I said I said I was going to approach ICASA they said I can as it would not make a difference. I have been in Australia since November 2012 & will be returning in late October 2013.I am paying over R300 per month which represents a sizable money I have had to forfeit. My cell no. is 9820629129. Are they entitled to do what they are doing?
