On friday 23 Aug 2013, i manually made a payment of R1350.00 for my account which owed around R1308.00, and after making such payment i emailed the proof of payment to 8ta the same day. I called in on Mondat ot check if the payment has been received and it was not. today i called in to check if the payment was received and it was confirmed that same has been received. My line has been suspended and when i requested for the reactivation, i was advised that i should fax a proof of payment. How on earth if the money reflects on my cellphone account, should i still fax proof of payment. I was advised that it is their procedure of which to me is useless since the payment made could be seen in their account with reference to my account. This is a very bad service and i am regreting having signed up my contract with 8ta, bearing in mind that this the second time i am experiencing same. 8ta needs to get their house and procedures in order as you cannot expect me to fax proof of payment whilst the money is reflecting in their account. Now i am advised that it may take around 72 hours for the line to be reactivated. Very bad service, i would not recommend 8ta to my friends.
