Telkom cut my Prepaid line round 16 Aug.'13. NOT due to funds, due to apparently I cancelled the line. There definitely was more than enough funds available, I loaded the line with R700 on 30/05/'13.
I have been trying ever since to get the line re-connected to no avail.
Being a call centre, you speak to a different person every time you phone. I have told my store from start to finish more than enough times, this is so frustrating! I have spend half a morning every morning on the phone for the last week. Each call centre agent I speak to have a different story, only today (27 Aug) & and yesterday they started to have the same explanation.
Unfortunately if I had this explanation AND action taken on day one (a week ago) my line might have been connected. Because of this time lap Telkom wants to give me a new number, after 6 years they want to change my number because they made a mistake.
The R700 is also missing and can only be queried once the line is re-connected (with a new number).
