I have two lines running into my home. One is mine and one is my landlords. My landlords line has multiple jacks. He contacted Telkom to have the number of jacks reduced. Rather than visit my home and reduce the jacks as instructed, Telkom just cut my line and moved my landlord's number onto my phone. No consultation, no explanation. Here I sit on the weekend trying to do URGENT work and unable to because I have no ADSL. Furthermore, Telkom's call centre makes you put in all your details to try and reach an agent, only then to cut you off. PATHETIC, PATHETIC service. I am used to the brainless service that is Telkom but this is a new low.
