Unfair backberry warranty

Have purchased a Blackbery 9360 last year oct, the phone charging system is damaged. I took it to Maponya mall in June for repairs to be told that its liquid damaged (due to sweat) they wont fix it .. its permanently damaged .. Do i really sweat that much that i could damge the charging sytem?? my phone has never been in contact with water .. How can i be paying R300 every month for a phone which is less than a year old?? isnt warranties suppose to cover for mechanical faults and if it breaks down within the warranty period it should be fixed?? Yes, i didnt take insurance becouse i felt if its within 24year warranty and anything hapens to it it will be fixed .. I Am so dissapointed with MTN, i have been a loyal customer for years to exprience this treatment .. What must i do with a phone that is dead and less than a year old whilst i am paying for it every mounth??
i just feel like MTN is using this "Liquid damage story" to extort money from its customers so they wont fix the faulty bb phones they selling to us...
