My iphone 4 I discovered like many Iphone 4's where shipped with a latent defect on the audio card. Even though I am still under contract and my phone is like new it had a audio problem and Vodacom refused to repair it. They wnet through the motions but they came back with the reply "Beyond economic Repair". They make this claim when any phone apparently is out of warranty. I retrieved my phone from the Vodacom repair store and went to the iFix store in Cape Town who are not only AMAZINGLY professional but repaired my phone in 2 days at a cost of R900.
We can now deduce that Vodacom do not supply customer service but in fact also to their customers. For a service provider who is the most expensive in the world in mobile telecomms and who I have been a customer for more then 14 years you would think they would have their clients interests at heart... clearly not.
