My phone was sent in for a software upgrade on the 30 December 2012.I was informed that they would be no cost for this as my phn was still under warranty and my phn would be repaired within 21 days. After 2 weeks I decided to do a follow up with the gateway branch-I was informed that they have not done anything with the phone as I am required to make a payment of R500 for the s upgrade. Nobody in the store could tell me why I was required to make the payment.after 3 days of running around I was told to contact the repair centre myself to follow up what the payment was for. I spoke to Deepowo, and was told that my phone is not under warranty thats is why I need to pay for the service. I then had to explain to her when the phone was bought and then only did she pick up that my phone is under warranty! the upgrade was done in 1 day whereas I am waiting so far 2 weeks for my phone and nobody from cell c could phone and tell me they are waiting for payment, I had to follow up with them! This was on 16Jan. I called to find out if i can pick up my phone today, the dbn branch couldnt locate my phn! JHB said it was sent, dbn said not received until they picked up the wrong was sent.so wheres my phn??
