I had ADSL installed and billed pro-rata since the 1st of August. Everything worked fine. Phoned Telkom call centre to do an upgrade on 12th of August and internet immediately stopped working. Since then I have phoned 17 times and spoke to many different people, each saying that the problem will be solved in 48 hours.
I will lodge a dispute, because it is completely ridiculous and against the Consumer Protection Act to be charged for a service that I am not receiving. No wonder Telkom is losing all its customers. Absolutely pathetic customer service. I want this problem resolved immediately. And your call centre staff need some additional training.
