Don't be fooled by Cell C's cheap rates.
Yes, you will save. But only because you never get to use the services you pay for!
Firstly, it takes about 3 or 4 tries to actually make a call. They just don't go through.
Secondly, 99% of the time nobody can get through to you, it just goes to voice mail and you get that annoying sms reminder of your so called 'missed call' even if you have been staring at your phone,
Thirdly, smses don't go through half the time.
Fourthly, data. Oh my. You can't do anything with the internet! It says you have "3G" but at the same time 'no connection'.
I have collected a folder full of screenshots of how pathetic their network is. Cell C is giving Samsung a bad name as I can't use half the features.
I went from Vodacom, to MTN to this junk. I would pay double what I am paying now with another network, at least I can use my phone!
I do Marketing, and we studied that video of when you got your 'new look' with Trevor Noah. Cell C still has the reputation they always did! Don't know what that was supposed to achieve.
