Handed over to DMC

I received an sms on 14/08 that reads as follows:
Your Autopage Cellular account has been handed over to DMC. Please contact us on 0861000116 and one of our friendly consultants will assist you by making arrangements for this account. Use 17503314 as ref.

Firstly you cant phone the number they give it just rings I held on for nearly 10 minutes. I eventually got a number from the Hillcrest office. It was supposedly for an account I had and cancelled 3 years ago! I have never received a bill or any notice from them until this sms. They DO know my email address because I constantly receive junkmail from them.
My gripe is how dare they blanket myself (and several other people by their own admission) and report us to credit bureaus giving us a bad credit rating when clearly NO effort until now has been made to contact us.

I paid mine under the advice of one of their staff who said they would black list me if I didnt.

I am absolutely disgusted and will NEVER take a contract with them!!
