My cellphones were from me a while back and as my upgrade was due this month i needed to do a sim swap on my number in order for my new sim card to be operational in my new phone. I called into the call center on 13/08/2013, the advisor captured the incorrect details of the sim swap firstly (me only finding this out the next day) and advised me that a consultant would contact me the next day during 8am and 5pm.
The next day 14/08/2013 because this sim swap needs to be done urgently i called cell c, each time promised to be called back before 5pm for the matter to be resolve, which it still has not been. The turn around time of Cell C is absolutely PATHETIC needless to say, if they cannot stick to promised turnaround times, do not give customers the time. I am now sitting without a working sim card and losing important contacts in the process!!!
