7 days for installation hogwash

I ordered a Telkom landline and ADSL line for my residence on the 31/07/2013 at the Telkom direct store in Clearwater Mall. I made a payment deposit of R700. I was advised that Telkom would be out to install within 7 days, and I would receive an sms with the date and time of installation. On Tuesday the 06 August I received an sms to my delight and it stated that the installation would be done the next day being the 07 August. Well I was very much disappointed when nobody showed up the next day. Another day passed and I decided to call the store, it rang continuously, no one answered. Eventually after maybe 15 attempts, someone answered, if I am not mistaken her name is Helen. She said she would call me back with an update, till now I am still awaiting that call. I called the call centre yesterday 12 August, the first agent said she would call me back, also still waiting for that call. I called again and spoke to Theresa, she advised that Telkom had the incorrect address for me, and it was rectified, but they donot have the infrastructure, and when they do they will contact me and arrange the installation, but it usually takes 21days! What happen to 7 days? I am very disappointed.
