I purchased a Giga20 contract in March 2013. First few weeks I was able to get speeds of up to 2Mbps when on the internet. But since April I have been only able to get speeds up to 20kbps!!! I have phoned Cell C customer care various occasions to query the ridiculously low speeds, they continually have said that they see no problem in my area or with my sim card and I should try waiting a few hours because there might be a bit of congestion.
I have waited a few hours and after a few hours it seems to correct itself, only for the speed to drop down again to - 20kbps!!! This is highly inconvenient and highly troubling as I moved over from Vodacom because of Cell C's so called better service!! So far it has been a bad decision!!
Last month I was unable to finish the gigs because the speed was so slow!!! If Cell C are not able to sort my complaint out I see no reason to continue my subscription, I certainly cannot recommend Cell C to anyone and I want a full refund!
