Upon upgrading my data package, Vodacom cut my dual sim card service after they were informed I utilize a dual sim in my ipad and my router, I was placed on a 5G package top up, which apparently does not accommodate a dual sim at all. After visiting 3 vodacom stores to sort out the problem, I was continuously promised the sim will be connected the following day. Eventually Vodacom Customer Service in Gateway explained to me this week, the old sim in my ipad would never work on the upgrade and that their upgrades can only be altered on the 1st of each month. Brindley (Gateway) contacted Pinetown Vodacom and asked Yashir who handled my upgrade, how are they going to meet the client half way as she will have no 3G access until 1 September on her ipad. After waiting 45minutes for Yashir to return Brindley's call on how they going to assist me with 3G access for August, Brindley had to phone Yashir again and they offered me a free R20.00 pay as you go simcard, but I had to buy the data bundles!! I'm disgusted with Vodacom after spending the past 3 month an average of R5000.00 and more on my contracts with them.
