I upgraded my cell. The request was sent to [Email Removed] on the 23rd of July. I eventually received my new phone on the 2nd of October. I was not at any point advised that the phone I had selected used a micro sim which would need to be activated. When I called the Call Centre on Friday, late afternoon to activate it I was advised that the activations department works Mon-Fri 8-5 and Sat 9-1 so I had to phone on Sat morning. When I phoned on Sat I was told activations cannot be done on a Saturday as they ONLY work Mon-Fri. So once again I phoned on Monday. After many failed attempts I eventually managed to get through to a Supervisor who then proceeded to explain that I needed to do a SimSwap. I was at last given a reference number. I have since called every day to check on the progress and still to date have not had my SIM card activated even after emailing Business AGAIN yesterday.
If this is how Cell C treats a Business Customer how do they treat private customers?! SHOCKING.
