Bye Bye Autopage. You didn't Try!!! Not once.!!

I am one of those customers that believe that my current provider will always have my best interest at heart.

Currently I qualify for an upgrade of my line and the best offer that these could offer me was
a Samsung S3 (yes a freaking S3) on my currently MTN Anytime package R350.00, and a ""PAY IN"" of ZAR 2000.00 .

As I did not do my homework before calling them I was a bit surprised, but no alarm bells, I asked the Retentions Consultant to forward, three best options that Auto page could offer me and also reminded them that I have been with them for the last 13 Years, so would appreciate their best efforts.

Surprise, surprise, not one sent me an email, and not one called me back, I called in the following week, with same scenario

I looked up MTN online specials and noted MTN Anytime 200 Contract, with a Free S4 (Yes FREE S4 Samsung with no pay in)

So I called Auto page back, And mentioned the same... Suddenly with little hestitation Auto page could now offer the same as does MTN Direct. So I inquired why was I quoted a S3 with R2000 rand pay in.???

So I am going to PORT, One very famous insurance company said " Better to go direct "
