The story started when I was called by Vodacom agent stating that they have special Acer Laptops for sale at special price. This was in November 2012. They promised to deliver this laptop to my preferred destination within 7 days, which promise they kept. They informed me that if I do not want the deal after receiving it I can cancel it within 21 days. When I received the laptop I found that it was very expensive and without the software programmes. I did not have extra money to purchase software. I therefore cancelled the order.
The laptop was picked up as expected within 7 days of cancellation in December 2012. However, I started receiving the bills which keep on going up every month. Trying to contact them in this regard is a mountain of a task as you have to call several people and/or you have to be transferred to several people. This despite having sent them the slip that this was picked up. It seems like I do not have the correct Pick up slip according to their call agents. However, it is the only slip that they left at home when they picked it up
They have now handed me over their lawyers
